On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, participants of the GirlZone Program visited Al Amal Health Center, affiliated with Kotof Al Khair Association, to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and promote the values of community responsibility and humanitarian action.
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, and under the theme "Donate Blood, Save Lives," participants of the GirlZone Program visited Al Amal Health Center, affiliated with Kotof Al Khair Association, as part of an awareness initiative promoting health education, community responsibility, and humanitarian values.
During the visit, the participants toured the center's departments and learned about the healthcare services it provides. They also attended an informative session led by the medical staff, where they learned about the importance of blood donation, the eligibility requirements, and the donation process, while having the opportunity to ask questions and receive professional medical guidance.
The visit also included free blood tests for the participants and concluded with the presentation of a message of appreciation to the medical and administrative teams in recognition of their humanitarian efforts and their dedication to serving the community.
This activity was implemented as part of the GirlZone Program, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with the aim of promoting health awareness, volunteerism, and community engagement among adolescent girls.
